At Burvale Heights Veterinary Hospital, we offer comprehensive consultations for all your pet’s health needs. Whether you’ve just welcomed a new puppy, kitten, or adult animal into your home, or you have concerns about your pet's wellbeing, our experienced vets are here to help ensure they remain happy and healthy.
As a pet owner, you're the first to notice when something seems off. Subtle changes in behaviour, energy levels, appetite, or thirst can be early signs of illness. More noticeable symptoms, such as vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, sneezing, seizures, or visible skin and eye irritations, also signal that your pet may need veterinary attention.
During your consultation, one of our caring veterinarians will conduct a thorough physical examination and discuss any changes or concerns you’ve observed. We’re equipped with a range of diagnostic tools that allow us to perform many tests during the consultation itself. This often provides immediate answers and enables us to begin treatment right away.
In more complex cases where a diagnosis isn’t immediately clear, we can carry out a wide variety of in-house diagnostic procedures. These include digital X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, and clinical pathology. We also partner with external reference laboratories to ensure access to the highest quality testing. Together, we’ll determine the best diagnostic and treatment plan tailored specifically to your pet’s needs.
Our consulting hours are:
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 7:30pm
- Saturday 8:00am - 1:00pm
